CAPA and NCDOT have discussed the upcoming winter weather forecast and decided it is best to cancel the 2025 CAPA/NCDOT Asphalt Pavement Workshop scheduled for February 20, and 21, 2025. The National Weather Service has advised NCDOT that this will be a statewide event with accumulation in several counties and temperatures will likely cause hazardous conditions to remain for a few days. Also, many of the NCDOT’s registered attendees would not be able to attend due to the storm and their related duties. CAPA and NCDOT are discussing options to reschedule the event. Once that decision is made, we will let you know how registration fees can be handled regarding the change. The hotel has assured us that you do not need to call to cancel your reservations, they will handle all cancelations that are booked for this event..
